Jamie is a Somatic Therapy Practitioner, RYT-200 Trauma Informed Yoga Instructor, Wellness Coach, Event Coordinator, and Singer/Songwriter. Her personal journey through somatic healing has equipped her with the tools to manage anxiety and overcome depression and PTSD, stemming from an abusive upbringing and first marriage. Jamie intimately understands the challenges of balancing daily life with the recovery from domestic violence and co-parenting five children with her former partner.
Now, 14 years later, Jamie is dedicated to sharing the wisdom gained from her personal experiences and over 600 hours of specialized training. Her mission is to empower individuals to take control of their health and well-being by providing them with the tools and resources needed for a balanced and fulfilling life. Jamie believes in the potential of each person and warmly invites you to embark on your own somatic journey, where you can discover your unique strengths and capabilities.
As a Somatic Therapy Practitioner, Jamie will help you access your body's inherent somatic intelligence to process trauma and free yourself from lingering emotional burdens. She has trained with leading experts, earning a Somatic Therapy Practitioner Certification from the Somatic Arts Academy and a Trauma-Informed Yoga Teaching Certification from the School Yoga Institute. Using a trauma-informed approach, Jamie integrates principles of Yoga Philosophy and Compassionate Inquiry into her personalized sessions.
